The Social Policy and Social Work team of the Centre for Sociological Research (CESO), KU Leuven, Belgium, calls for applications for the Jos Berghman Welfare Studies Stipend. Each year, this stipend offers two young scholars the opportunity to spend a research term of 2-3 months with the CESO team, either in the spring or autumn semester.
Eligible candidates are international PhD-students, post-docs, or early career researchers whose research is situated in the broad fields of social policy and social work. Their research can be quantitative or qualitative in nature, preferably (but not exclusively) from a sociological perspective. The research term should result in a paper.
The stipend covers accommodation and travel costs.
The deadline for applications is 1 June 2017.
